Columbia Metrotones

The Columbia Metrotones are Columbia University’s premier all-gender SSAA a cappella group. We were founded in 1983, when Columbia became a coeducational institution. We perform at a wide variety of venues and events in and outside of New York City. Our repertoire is ever-changing and eclectic, including pop, R&B, and indie music, and that one time we sang backup for Vampire Weekend.

Programming

Metrotones performs at many on and off campus events, and is available for outside bookings for events such as concerts, galas, weddings, and other performances.

All a cappella groups audition on the same nights during the first week of every semester. Please watch the CUPAL website for updates and the final schedule
